It is with deep sadness that Kidsgrove Town Council announces the passing of our Town Clerk Hannah Marr.
Hannah passed away after a brief illness and is survived by her partner and two children. Hannah joined the council in August 2022. Hannah had worked in local government for numerous years across Cheshire East and Staffordshire including Crewe Town Council, Willaston Parish Council, Haslington Parish Council before joining us at Kidsgrove. Hannah brought a wealth of experience in local governance to the role as Clerk for Kidsgrove. In her time with the council, Hannah had forged ahead with the council plans, ideas and events including the Neighbourhood Plan, the Town Deal and Christmas Lights Switch on to name a few. She helped numerous residents with everyday issues, promoted and increased the usage of Victoria Hall and played a fundamental role in the installation of CCTV in Kidsgrove.
Hannah was an intricate part of the Council Team leading not only the council team but councillors as well.
