Starting Salary Range SCP 7 – 12 (£13.26 – £14.36) pro-rata.
Good holidays and membership of Local Government Pension Scheme

Kidsgrove Town Council is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and diligent
part-time Admin Assistant to support the work of our Town Council Office at the
Victoria Hall, Kidsgrove.
The hours are 16 hours a week to be worked flexibly to suit the business needs.
As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide essential administrative support to the Town Clerk and the Town Council. Your duties will include managing day-to-day office tasks, assisting with the preparation of council meetings, maintaining records, dealing with public enquiries, and supporting the smooth operation of the Town Council’s projects and initiatives.
Full training will be provided.
The successful candidate must have excellent communication and IT skills and the flexibility to deal with a variety of situations and tasks. The ability to work under pressure and be able to prioritise your own workload is essential. You will need to be able to work as part of a team but must also have the ability to work on your own initiative when required.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent organisational and administrative skills with meticulous attention to detail as strict deadlines have to be met.
