The Philip Astley Society has commissioned Staffordshire Poet Laureate Mel Wardle-Woodend, to organise two circus themed events to celebrate Astley Fest this year – Aug 7th. The two events are:
- A circus themed poetry workshop for adults (online) – 28th July am
- A circus themed poetry competition. Open to all children aged 7-11 years who live in Staffordshire. Closing date 16th July.
