At 8pm on Sunday 18th September 2022, the night before the state funeral, there will be a one-minute silence where the public are invited to come together to reflect on the life and legacy of Queen Elizabeth II
The Town Hall will open from 7.45pm for anyone wishing to sign the Book of Condolence. A minute’s silence will then be held on the steps of the Town Hall at 8pm
If you would like to lay some flowers, please leave them by the flagpole at the Town Hall or at the Memorial Gardens in Kidsgrove and Butt Lane
